Hello everyone, I am new to this website, and I already love it I just wanted to know if anyone out there is TTC post nuva ring, or have already got their BFP. I just took it out 2/15/10) and like clock work AF 2/19/10. (My hubby convinced me that we should TTC over a Valentines Day dinner)I am currently in school and will graduate in July, but I was hoping to have a child by the end of this year. We are really excited and can’t wait until we have a BFP.

I also wanted to know if the rumors about temporary infertility are true post Nuva Ring. I have read on many sites that ppl have had miscarriages after coming of BC. AF was not regular prior to BC, however i have been on BC for the past 2-3 yrs, and have not had any problems with it. The key question is how long would I have to wait before i get my BFP?

Hi! Welcome. I am semi new as well (joined in late Jan or early Feb).
I started NuvaRing in Oct, removed it in Jan, and was pregnant that first try-we're due in Oct. So in my experience, it's rather quick.
Good luck! I recommend you start taking prenatal vitamins asap so you're healthy when you conceive.

I was on it for a few years after my son was born, we decided to try again so I took it out, got af like I should, was perfectly regular but it still took me a year to concieve. I chose to go back on it after our second son and though he is now 10 months I'm re-thinking it. I think an IUD is a better choice for me. NuvaRing is a vERY good birthcontrol and they told me it can take a while.

I was on nuva ring, took it out in oct, and got preggers a couple weeks later. Good luck to ya :)
