I have a 34 day cycle and im supposed to be on day 6 of 6 of my period but AF hasnt shown up and i keep getting BFN's on my tests. which i have been using dollar tree tests. I am really confused because i know feb was a shorter month but not THAT much shorter. my period isnt usually this late if at all late. i havent been stressed out very much i have actually been pretty happy lately so im at a total loss for whats going on.......?

Do you chart? You can never assume that you O at the same time each cycle even if you're "always" regular - you can easily suddenly O early or late. If you have a chart, post it in BBT and we'll take a peek. While everyone always says sickness or "stress" can delay O, sometimes our bodies just do weird things. If you hit the week mark and nothing with say a FRER, call the doctor. You could always start temping now and if they're staying high, that's a good sign. Good luck!

thanks! i have not done bbt charting yet. i was just starting out trying to figure when i would O according to my cycle. yeah today is the week mark! p.s. whats an FRER? i will temp starting tomorrow

um nvm i cant temp tomorrow cuz i dont have one of those thermometers. i cant get one right now either. my clinic says i have to wait two weeks after my period was due to get any blood work (military crap!!!) so i guess for now im just waiting thanks cinnamon!

FRER is an acronym for First Response Early Response pregnancy test. I'd get a basal thermometer as soon as you can. Are you saying you're on day 40 of your cycle then?

wee, i guess you could say its day 40, i always have a 34 day cycle but unless im not pg then yeah its day 40. thanks for the acronym :)

Cass where are you guys stationed? I am also Military (spouse) and you can walk into any MTF and get a blood test done. You don't have to wait for 2 weeks. Planned Parenthood does free urine tests as well. Do you have a Patient's First Clinic where you are?....just some ideas for you to try =)

Hey HollyJolly, thanks but i dont think we have one here, im on Fort Bragg NC. I go to Robinson Clinic and they have actually been turning away new patients because its so crowded here with no one being currently deployed. I dont know of an planned parenthood here(thats where i tested for my DS!) but i know in Texas there was one. I will look it up! thanks!
